First lesson from depression : ACCEPTATION

When starting this journey, the first thing I did is to ACCEPT that I am depressed and there is nothing for me to be ashamed of. I accepted that my depression is part of ME. So why refuse it and fight myself


I recognize that it was hard to accept it. It doesn’happen just with a click of the fingers. It has taken me a long time to believe that i can never move on in my life if I don’t accept that my depression is here to make me a better person but at one condition I had to listen to what it has to tell me.

Accepting made be break the first barrier, because there is many, between me and my feelings. The process of accepting help me see over the depression. Because depression is only the visible part of the iceberg, By accepting it I unlocked the invisible part of myself that I needed to exploher in order to be in harmony with myself
